Hailing, from Brownsville, Brooklyn NY, looming with extraordinary potential is BRNGTN (Barrington), dubbed the “Easy Rocking Weirdo.” Barry which most of his friends call him possesses such a passion and enthusiasm for the musical art form that to even deny him would be utterly restricting to his right of passage. Rhyming words coupled with the slickest of metaphors can be any young kid’s meal ticket out of the harsh reality of the ghetto, but for this Brooklyn bread Lyricist it’s a skill so very well honed it became second nature. Armed with his Freshman EP currently on the market entitled “Hopkinson Ave”, BRNGTN has worked & collaborated with talented artists alike such as CX Kid Tronix, 77 Klash as well as High Priest from the group well known as Anti Pop Consortium. Refusing to be boxed in like so many others before him, BRNGTN’s musical influences ranges anywhere from Dancehall’s Reggae roots to Alternative Rock on up to the Hip Hop genre he currently embodies. The artist, BRNGTN whom has been working on building a dream that is slowly becoming his very own reality, has also had quite the privilege of gracing the stages of various performance venues in and around the New York City area. It’s clearly evident BRNGTN lives and breathes a kaleidoscope of performing experience. How many aspiring recording artists can truly say they’ve had the opportunity of recording, mixing and mastering their debut album at a renowned recording establishment named Unique recording studio or even the famous Chung King studio? While at Chung King studios BRNGTN has had the experience of working with Engineer “extraordinaire” Chris Conway with which whom the artist has had the privilege of forming an thus forging a professional as well as a personal relationship. Among the list of heavy weights he’s sparred with, Barry has managed to garner a bit of star power to partner up with fellow rapper, Casino Bucx on a particular single in his arsenal titled “CALLING”, which features the appearance of Dancehall Reggae’s living legend HALFPINT. The song “CALLING” received instant popularity and acceptance amongst the genre’s wide audience.
